What does it mean to be a maker?
To create versus consume, to be empowered, enlightened and a leader for change.
What are you doing in the Maker community?
I wrote a book about making after working in a makerspace full time for the past four years. I am continuing to publish ideas about constructionism and science literacy on the FabLearn blog site.
Who are some other Makers you admire and why?
Ada Lovelace, for seeing the role of art and science for true innovation and inquiry. My parents for teaching me how to sew and do woodworking.
